WILLIAM C. MARTELL - SCREENWRITER

William C. Martell has been a professional screenwriter since his first produced credit, "NINJA BUSTERS" (GPD, 1984), which was mentioned in Rex Weiner's Variety column (Cannes '95 issue). In 1990, he sold "COURTING DEATH" (based on his novel) to Spectacor films and made the front page of The Hollywood Reporter.

Mr. Martell writes regular columns for Hollywood Scriptwriter, Scr(i)pt Magazine and Eon magazine online. He is a member of the Mystery Writers Of America, and is the author of "The Secrets Of Action Screenwriting" and numerous 40-50 page booklets on the craft of screenwriting. He was guest lecturer at Art Center Pasadena's Advanced Film Making class, was a featured guest at the Santa Fe Screenwriters Conference 2000, and has spoken at various film festivals and screenwriting conferences. He is listed in Film Writers Guide.
